Dual Purpose: Cardigans as Jumpers

Something I love most about clothing is how versatile it can be. I love reusing clothes in different ways and getting the most out of them. Something I’ve recently seen a lot of is cardigans buttoned up and being worn as jumpers. I’m not sure why this excites me so much but it really does, I think because not only does it give my cardigans a new lease of life but it also gives them a new look.

What I love about this cardigan is the turned up sleeves giving the illusion of a cuff. The ribbed texture adds a bit off interest and I love the fluffy, thick feeling of the material. If I could change anything it would be the buttons, luckily I have a few faux tortoise shell buttons spare which I can replace them with.

For this look I got inspiration from one of my favourite bloggers, Chloe Miles. I saw an instagram of her wearing this gorgeous cardigan buttoned up and tucked in to a pair of black jeans. I instantly asked her where she got it and jumped straight on to ASOS to buy them. A quick note: the cardigan is VERY oversized so I had to order it in a size 4 for it to be able to be tucked in to my jeans. Even in a size 4 it works well as a slightly oversized cardigan if your not in to the jumper look.
